New Security Regulations Regarding the Carriage of Liquids, Aerosols and Gels
On April 1 new security measures were introduced restricting the carriage of liquids, aerosols and gels as hand luggage aboard international flights.
The new regulations state that all liquids, aerosols and gels carried on board by passengers must be carried in containers smaller than 100ml. All such containers must fit comfortably into a 20cm x 20cm clear re-sealable plastic bag. For more details on these regulations please visit

What this means for purchasing Duty Free Liquids in AustraliaIt is still OK to buy duty free liquids after security at Australian Airports. Our stores in Gold Coast and Adelaide remain open as normal.
For departing flights there may be some restrictions on carrying duty free liquids over 100ml depending on where you are traveling to.
There are no security restrictions on duty free shopping on arrival in Australia
